WAYNE C. REYNOLDS is a business strategist who specializes in behavioral styles and 360 Degree Feedback
/ Multi-rater Assessments, key elements in organizational and personal effectiveness.
He uses a 360-degree feedback program to assess skills, identify performance needs, and conduct surveys
which analyze organizational climate, attitude and culture. Through the use of learning instruments,
Wayne assists personnel in identifying their own styles (behavioral and personality) and then develops
effective performance strategies.
Wayne has worked with organizations in the energy, manufacturing, retail, technology, legal, medical,
federal and local government, higher education, and non-profit sectors. He has developed assessment
programs, designed training programs, and conducted workshops and 360-degree feedback programs.
Beginning in 1983, Wayne was involved in the developing of a 360 degree feedback program within the
government (FAA) and has served on the Advisory Board of Performance Support Systems, a company who
has published a computerized 360 program, for the last 5 years.
In addition to over 15 years experience in consulting and training, Wayne has 25 years of federal government
experience in such areas as air traffic control, training and supervision. He also served in the U.S. Navy.
While a National Chairperson for all FAA supervisors, he worked with top management in all aspects of training
and customer service. Wayne was instrumental in the development of the Air Traffic Management Plan. He is
responsible for designing a program and the related training materials for over 2,300 supervisors / managers
of a major government agency, and trained personnel to conduct assessments for identifying potential managers.
Wayne was responsible for developing the Supervisory Identification and Development program for all first
line supervisors in the Air Traffic Division of the FAA. This involved 360 feedback, development of skill
based interviews and the training of the assessors. Wayne also managed the development of the national
assessment center for upper level manages, which consisted of developing and validating all seniors, such as:
In-Out-Basket routine, Conflict Resolution, Leaderless group exercise, and administering discipline.
He also trained the assessors for all these programs.
Wayne is fully certified to administer Inscape (formerly Carlson Learning) behavioral instruments and all
Meyers Briggs programs. He also received advanced training in the Meyers Briggs Type Instrument from the
University of Richmond. He has completed various certificate programs in the areas of labor relations,
management, negotiations, facilitation, management and supervisory training, train-the-trainer, and conflict
resolution from Cameron University.
His honors include an FAA Regional Director Commendation for developing training programs for air traffic
controllers and a Performance Commendation from the Associate Administrator for Air Traffic. Wayne has been
invited to speak to various government and non-profit organizations on numerous topics such as conflict
resolution, self-awareness, management styles and 360 degree feedback, etc.
His affiliations have included the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), Society for
Human Resource Management (SHRM), and the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce.
