ASSESS for Supervisors, Managers & Professionals
How do I read the Graphic Profile?
|
This is a quick summary of the individual’s feedback results through a graphic profile.
As you review the graphic profile keep the following in mind:
The profile is a "snapshot" that will allow you to see large differences from one
dimension to the next. Don't pay much attention to small differences.
Unlike intellectual ability measures, higher scores on personality measures are not
necessarily better. For example, having a greater need for organizational freedom
or being too detail-oriented may have a negative impact on the job. Read the entire
report for an in-depth interpretation.
The rectangles indicate the individual’s percentile scores compared to professional
norms. A percentile score of 60, for example, indicates the individual scored higher
than 60% of the people in the professional norm group and lower than 40% of the
people in the norm group.
The shaded bars indicate the 25th to 75th percentile range of another comparison group
(managerial, sales, accountant, etc.). This Template
is an indication of how most people in the comparison group scored. The comparison group
used for the report is listed at the top of the ASSESS graphic profile.
