Confidentiality of Reports
Because of the nature of appraisal information and the dangers of its misuse, each Selection or Screening report must be kept confidential and
its contents restricted to those who have direct responsibility for decision-making. The Selection and Screening reports should not be shown to
the individual evaluated nor their contents discussed with candidates.
Unless a qualified counselor is present during such a feedback session, there are strong risks of erroneous interpretations and other
misunderstandings, dissension, and disclosure of information that the individual may be psychologically unable to handle.
The Developmental and Career Manager reports are designed to be given to the candidate but otherwise should be kept confidential and their
contents restricted to the individual assessed and those in the organization responsible for his/her development.
