A candidate’s results can now be compared to 73 different job templates making it easier to evaluate the person’s fit with the job role.
These templates are categorized in the following occupational families/industries:

Grocery Health Care Hospitality Human Resources Insurance Information Systems Manufacturing / Production |
Legal Management Marketing /Advertising Public Relations Real Estate / Property Retail Sales |
Further, the responses of the underlying professional norm group were reviewed (the group used as the general comparison point for ASSESS)
to ensure it is representative of today's workforce. It was found that:

the distributions (percentiles for the comparative group) for the personality characteristics on the ASSESS Personality Survey
to be unchanged. |

there were slight differences in the distributions of all the intellectual abilities tests from the prior norm base. |
The ASSESS ability norm base was revised to best represent these changes in the current workforce.
Under the new norms, percentile scores will be slightly higher and there will be less adverse impact.
The ASSESS Technical Manual Update will provide full details concerning these changes and the additional
norm templates.
