Managing Performance Priorities program – MPP
|
Managing Performance Priorities is a unique and revolutionary coaching and performance tool that has captured
the attention of managers and coaches in a variety of industries.
This program shifts the emphasis of managing priorities to the subordinates as they submit their goals and priorities to
their manager for approval, while still holding everyone accountable.
Reports are easily generated to quickly see how subordinates understand their role and how well management is
overseeing their performance and goal / priority setting.

Managing Performance Priorities provides a great way for managers and coaches to lead their team towards alignment,
efficiency and superior performance.
This online system offers 24/7 access to an online, web-based program where a manager and employee can simultaneously
establish priorities for the employee’s work week.
With Managing Performance Priorities, a manager and his/her team can become more effective in working toward
the common goal and staying on the right path.
- Eliminate employees waiting for their manager to give them their next assignment.
- Instead, the subordinate submits a proposed “game plan” to the manager for their manager’s approval.
- Personal accountability is held by everyone involved.
- This process improves communication.
- Time wasted on the wrong tasks is significantly reduced while reducing frustration and loss of productivity.
The ”player” (employee), determines tasks and priorities for the week and submits a “game plan” to the ”coach” (manager).
The coach then approves or requests revision and comments on the player’s game plan. If change is requested, the
player can revise the game plan accordingly.
Meanwhile, those with a vested interest in the team (“fans”), will have access to a view-only mode to review the game plan’s
progress. At the end of the selected time period, the tasks are determined complete or incomplete.
Managing Performance Priorities is ideal for multiple situations – the format is simple and easily incorporated.
With online accessibility, a manager can easily communicate with team members in different locations or countries.
Achieve Long-Term Benefits
- Regular and concrete feedback from the coach will benefit the employee’s growth as he or she can quickly
begin to understand how to effectively manage tasks and contribute to team success.
- The system supports communication while also providing information to aid performance evaluations of an individual or team.
- Reports can be created for any date range to show the number of approved, denied, pending, complete or incomplete tasks
by the team or the individual.
- Reports can be used to help distinguish trends in performance or identify the cause for struggle and aid in individual coaching efforts.
- An unlimited number of players and fans allows for multi-tier management and coaching.
The Process
The employee determines tasks and priorities for the week and submits a plan the manager / coach. It is then approved,
revisions requested and/or comments made.
If a change is requested, the plan can be revised accordingly.
At the end of an established time period, the tasks are determined complete or incomplete.
Others, with a vested interest, can be granted access to a view-only mode.
