Team Building Assessment for Teams, Teamwork
Through individual assessments / reports, each team member clearly perceives how he / she contributes to the organization.
Suggested for those organizations who work in teams.
In this report we are measuring four dimensions of normal behavior.
They are how a person:
– responds to problems and challenges
– influences others to your point of view
– responds to the pace of the environment
– responds to rules and procedures set by others
Team Building report contents include:
Basic Characteristics
This section offers general behavioral statements to provide information on the individual's natural behavior. That is, if left on his/her own –
How he/she would choose to do the job.
Work Characteristics
This section offers statements on how the individual "sees" his/her present work environment requiring him/her to exhibit the behavior listed in
this section. If the statements do not sound job related, then the reasons why the individual is adapting this behavior should be explored.
Value to the Team
This section of the report identifies the person's value to the team. This list should be discussed and those values most important to the team identified.
Value to the Organization
This section identifies the behavior the individual brings to the organization. Use these statements to capitalize on person's value to the team and
organization.
Effective Communication
Most people are aware of and sensitive to the ways with which they prefer to be communicated. Many people find this section to be extremely accurate
and important for enhanced interpersonal communication. This page provides other people with a list of things to DO when communicating with this person.
Don'ts on Communication
This section of the report is a list of things NOT to do while communicating with the individual. Each statement should be reviewed and those
methods of communication that result in frustration or reduced performance identified.
Communicating Tips
This section provides suggestions on methods which will improve the person's communications with others. The tips include a brief description of
typical people with whom he/she may interact. By adapting to the communication style desired by other people, he/she will become more effective
in his/her communications with them.
Team Effectiveness Factors
The person's behavioral work style may or may not be compatible with other team members. Each team member brings their own strengths and
weaknesses. This section of the report allows the individual's strengths and weaknesses to be analyzed.
Perceptions
This section provides additional information on the individual's self-perception and how, under certain conditions, others may perceive his/her behavior.
Descriptors
Based on the person's responses, the report "marks" those words that describe his/her personal behavior. These words describe how he/she solves
problems and meets challenges, influences people, responds to the pace of the environment and how he/she responds to rules and procedures set by
others.
