The Supervision Series Online utilizes behavior modeling to instill the basic foundations of interpersonal supervisory management.

For: Team leaders and first-line managers in both office and industrial / manufacturing

This module takes the participants step-by-step through the effective procedures for assigning tasks effectively. It shows them how to form clear explanations, to gain agreement, and to confirm future plans and commitments with team members.

Objectives
Managers and team leaders will learn to:
  Understand the importance of creating an atmosphere in which assignments can be phrased as requests rather than commands
  Provide clearly stated assignments that take the individual team member’s need for information about the task into account
  Encourage team members to participate by asking for their opinions and incorporating their suggestions whenever possible
  Overcome barriers to understanding by summarizing the mutually agreed upon set of instructions for accomplishing the task
  Use team member feedback and insure that your tasks have been clearly understood and retained
  Further insure the successful completion of the task at hand by building effective controls into the process
